llms.txt generator

A curated map of your site for AI assistants to read — the same idea as robots.txt or a sitemap, but written for language models instead of crawlers. Fill in what applies, then host the result at yoursite.com/llms.txt.

Basics

This becomes the quoted line right under your name — keep it to one real sentence. It's what a model reads first.

Sections

Group your most important pages under headings — "Docs," "Products," "About," whatever fits. Each link can carry a one-line note. A section named "Optional" is a real convention: it tells a model these links are lower-priority and safe to skip if it's short on room.

Generated llms.txt

Add a site name and at least one link above to generate your file.

Save this as a plain text file named llms.txt and host it at your site's root — yoursite.com/llms.txt, same place as robots.txt. Spec at llmstxt.org.
